River table by KAXARINO with a hand-poured resin river running through solid wood

A river table is built from a wood slab with a channel running through it, filled with tinted resin so the “river” sits at real depth against the grain of the wood on either side. It's one of the best-known forms of resin-and-wood furniture, and the starting point KAXARINO’s own landscape technique grew out of. Our full explainer on river tables goes into the craft in more depth.

KAXARINO’s river tables

Where our 3D mountain landscape tables build a full mountain range either side of the water, our river tables keep the focus on the river itself — the same hand-pouring process, poured in a single continuous line rather than a full landscape scene. Both can be built to dining, coffee, or console scale.

Frequently asked questions

How is a river table different from a full landscape table?

A river table focuses on a single hand-poured resin river across the wood, while KAXARINO's 3D mountain landscape tables build a fuller scene with peaks on either side as well.

Can a river table be built as a dining table?

Yes — see our dining tables page, or get in touch to discuss sizing.
